House rules and policies

These apply to every Paradiso Properties home in Chelem. Some homes have extra notes on their own page.

Check-in and check-out

• Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am.
• We send arrival details and the exact address once your booking is confirmed.
• Early check-in or late check-out is possible on request when the calendar allows, at no extra charge. Ask us before you arrive.

House rules

• Only the guests named on the booking may stay, up to the number shown for the home.
• No parties or events.
• Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.
• No smoking indoors. Smoking is fine on the patio.
• Pets are welcome. Tell us about them when you send your request, keep them off beds and furniture, and clean up after them.

Booking and payment

• Send a request from the home's page. We hold your dates for 48 hours while we confirm, and no payment is taken when you send a request.
• Nightly rates are in Mexican pesos (MXN). Prices shown in US dollars are approximate.
• Once we approve your request, we email you the total and our bank details. Pay the full amount by bank transfer within 48 hours of receiving them to confirm your booking.
• On top of the nightly rate:
  • Cleaning fee: MXN 600 per stay.
  • Pet fee: MXN 800 per stay.
  • Refundable security deposit: MXN 3,000 (MXN 5,000 for Casa Verde), paid with your booking and returned within 7 days after check-out if nothing is damaged.

Cancellations and refunds

• Cancel 30 days or more before arrival: full refund.
• Cancel less than 30 days before arrival: no refund.
• The security deposit is always refunded in full if you cancel.

Questions

What's included? Air conditioning in every room, Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, and beach towels. Pools are cleaned weekly.

Where are the homes? In Chelem, a small fishing town on the Yucatán coast. Progreso's malecón is about 15 minutes away, the Mayan ruins at Dzibilchaltún about 30 minutes, and Mérida about 40 minutes.
